Safari Overview.
During this multiple (16) day safari, you will experience, interact, feel and enjoy the Uganda????????s big 8 which includes wildlife like lines, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetah, rhinos, chimpanzees, gorillas and the wonderful, joyful Uganda people in their difference cultures.
You will travel to different parts of the country all to experience the above mentioned big 8 which are spread all over the country both in wildlife protected areas, cultural communities, villages, towns and cities.
Safari Highlights.
Day 1: Evening chill out at the beach along fresh water Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Entebbe zoo, Kasubi Royal tombs.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park and Rhino tracking at Ziwa rhino sanctuary.
Day 4: Morning game drive, Afternoon boat cruse and Hiking to top of falls.
Day 5: Hiking to top of falls and transfer to Kibale national park.
Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking.

Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival and evening beach chillout.
You will touch down in Uganda through Entebbe international airport and our safari guides will be there to welcome you to the pearl of Africa. After the brief introduction and interaction with our safari guides, you will transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Depending your arrival time, you will have an evening beach tour along Lake Victoria which is a fresh water lake with a clear sundown view.

Day 2. Entebbe zoo, Kasubi Royal tombs.
After your morning breakfast, we shall drive to Entebbe education wildlife center (zoo) for multiple encounters of wildlife creatures like tiger, lions, elephants, giraffes with great moments of feeding some animals like giraffes, nature walks along the zoo.
From your lunch, we shall drive through the busy streets of Kampala city as we’re heading to Kasubi royal tombs which is a burial site for the Kings of great Buganda kingdom. The site has got rich history about the late Kings (Kabakas) of Buganda Kingdom such as Kabaka Edward Muteesa ll, Daudi Chwa, Kabaka Mwanga among other late Kings Buganda has ever had.
After all that you will transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon and prepare for the next the journey to Murchison falls national park.

Day 3. Transfer to Murchison falls national park and Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
You will have morning breakfast, then head out through the historical 1986 guerilla war areas of Luweero, on Kampala-Gulu Highway. We shall have a stopover in Luweero for Road Side snacks and ease.
Along the way we shall enroute to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking on foot. You will see from a distance one of the big five animal as while enjoying the photography moments.
After that we shall proceed to Masindi at around Midday and have lunch, relaxation. Later we shall proceed Murchison falls national park via Kichumbanyobo gate and check in to your lodge.

Day 4. Morning game drive, Afternoon boat cruise.
After breakfast, by 06:30hrs we shall drive to the River Nile at the Bridge crossing point to Paraa side (Northern Bank) to explore the wild.
Morning Game Drive
We shall then cross the River Nile to the Northern bank of the park going for our Morning game drive for about two and a half hours to 3 hours. With a glimpse of over 76 mammal species including African elephants, leopards, lions, giraffes, African Buffalos, Bushbucks, Kobs, crocodiles, waterbucks, Kongonis, oribis, baboons, Warthogs, and over 451 species of birds.
Lunch
After the Game drive, we shall drive back to our accommodation and have lunch then prepare for the afternoon Boat cruise at 1400hrs.
Launch Cruise to the bottom of the falls
The boat cruise shall take approximately 2 and a half hours to the bottom of the most powerful waterfalls in the world with a view of some wild animals and birds like Hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. After that we shall return back to our accommodation.

Day 5: Hiking to top of falls and transfer to Kibale national park.
After breakfast, we shall then drive to the top of the falls where we shall view the magnificent and most powerful waterfalls in the world the mighty Murchison falls, and the sister Uhuru Falls at the side. We shall Hike to the top and get the magnificent views. And then after we shall transfer to Kibale national park with a stopover in Hoima oil city for lunch and relaxation.
From Hoima city we shall continue to Kibale national park and check in to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking.
From your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kanyanchu visitors center for chimpanzee tracking briefing. After the briefing you will proceed to trekking and Spend time observing chimpanzees and other primates.
Afternoon nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary with bird watching opportunities along the green ethnic view. Transfer back to your lodge after all that in the evening.

Day 7: Mpanga tea plantation visit and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
You will have breakfast and checking out from lodge, you will travel to Mpanga tea plantation. Wile there you will observe and also participate in how tea is harvested by the locals which is an amazing experience. The place has clear view with flat landscape covered with green tea plantation which is great for photography and sightseeing.
We transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park with a stop over in Fort Portal tourism city for lunch and refreshments. Later we shall continue to the park and check in to your accommodation.

Day 8: Early morning game drive and evening bike cycling safari.
With your packed breakfast which you will enjoy in the wilderness, you will drive from your lodge into the jungle to encounter different wildlife species such as tree climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants among others on your game drive. You will comeback at your lodge for lunch and resting.
In the evening you will have a guided bike cycling safari within the park for 2-3hrs. During this session, you will encounter stanning landscape views along the park and the great mountain Rwenzori ranges plus the various bird species you will see along the cycling trail.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park.
From your warm breakfast, you will check out from lodge and depart to Bwindi Impenetrable national park which is a 4-5hr journey.
You will check in and have lunch at the lodge near the park as you relax waiting for camp fire at night waiting for tomorrow to reach and explore the gentle giants.

Day 10: Gorilla trekking.
On your tenth day, you will have early morning breakfast at the lodge then after transfer with your packed lunch to the park headquarter for gorilla trekking briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be briefed on the DOES and the DON’TS while on your trekking.
After the briefing you will dive into the trekking through the muddy and high topography of the park escorted by the ranger guide. You will trek with your guide who will lead you clearing the thick vegetation creating the way for you.
You will trek until you find a family of gorilla. After finding one you will keep 3 to 5 meters from them and watch the entire family for one hour doing their daily activities protected by the silverback. While others will be eating the different plants around you will also be capturing moments like pictures, videos among others during the experience.
Upon exhausting your time with these great apes, you will be escorted back at the briefing point for awarding ceremony. You will be awarded a gorilla trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority.
You will transfer back to your lodge after the ceremony for dinner and overnight.

Day 11. Transfer to Igongo Cultural center for Akole culture encounter.
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Igongo Cultural Centre (also known as Igongo Country Hotel and Cultural Centre), located in Biharwe. This is a premier site dedicated to preserving and showcasing the heritage of the Ankole (Banyankore) people and other southwestern Ugandan tribes.
Explore the well-curated Igongo Cultural Museum, featuring artifacts like traditional milking pots, calabashes, milk gourds, stools, cultural regalia, animal hides, and displays on Ankole leadership, history (including pre-colonial, colonial, and post-colonial eras), and the iconic long-horned Ankole cattle.
Evening, Enjoy the lush gardens, photography spots, and possibly traditional Ankole dishes at the on-site restaurant (smoked cow’s milk/eshabwe or steamed beef).
This is a relaxing yet immersive day focused on history, cattle culture, and traditions. Overnight at or near Igongo.

Day 12: Transfer to Jinja (Uganda’s Adventure Capital).
Depart from the western region (Mbarara area) for the scenic drive to Jinja, roughly 4–6+ hours depending on exact starting point and traffic/road conditions. Jinja sits at the shores of Lake Victoria and is famous as the source of the River Nile and East Africa’s adventure.
We shall have a stopover at Equator monument before proceeding to Kampala city for our lunch. After our lunch in the afternoon the journey to Jinja will continue and check in to your hotel upon arrival.
You will have a clear sundown view along the great River Nile while chilling and relaxing at your accommodation.

Day 13: Source of the River Nile, Quad Biking, Back Hose ride.
Visit the iconic point where the Nile exits Lake Victoria. Take a guided boat trip to see the bubbling waters and learn about its significance as the world’s longest river.
Quad Biking, Ride through rural villages, plantations, and along the Nile banks for an off-road adventure with cultural glimpses and scenic views.
Evening Back hose ride. Explore trails in areas along the banks of River Nile, spotting birds, and lush vegetation and cool breath in air from Mabira Forest.

Day 14: Transfer to Ewaffe Cultural Village.
Transfer from Jinja toward Kampala/Mukono head to Ewaffe Cultural Village main site in Naggalama, Mukono District, an immersive living heritage site focused on Buganda kingdom.
Hands-on village experiences: Learn to cook traditional Buganda dishes, participate in seasonal fruit tastings, try indigenous fishing techniques, or join in storytelling sessions, Cultural dances, music, and interactions with locals.
You will have a traditional meal as lunch locally known as Luwombo (a banana-leaf steamed dish) accompanied with the fresh local fruits harvested from the garden.
After all that in the evening, we shall drive to Kampala city and check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Kampala City and Mengo Palace Tour.
From having your breakfast at hotel, explore Uganda’s vibrant capital, Kampala with a focus on its cultural and historical heart.
Mengo Palace (Lubiri/Kabaka’s Palace) you will tour the historic residence of the Buganda Kingdom’s king on Mengo Hill. Learn about Buganda’s 800+ year history, view the impressive Twekobe building, and explore sites linked to past events (including remnants from turbulent periods like Idi Amin’s era).
Afternoon, Kampala City Drive or walk through the seven hills, visit key landmarks such as the Kasubi Tombs, markets with local crafts and vibes, religious sites like Gaddafi Mosque or cathedrals and bustling downtown areas contrasting old and modern Uganda.
We shall drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 16: Transfer to Entebbe Airport for Your Flight.
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Kampala if your flight is later. You can as well go for shopping around Kampala city before transfer to Entebbe International Airport typically (45-90 minutes) from Kampala, depending on traffic.
